Counseling

Bree Allmon

M.S., CCTP-II, D.A.A.E.T.S.

Yep, here's another one...

Another health professional spouting words like "Journey" and "Manifest" or "Purpose." Exhausting, isn't it? Well, I can't promise I won't use those words.

My apologies.

While my first adventure into the workforce landed me with animals, research & veterinary medicine, I quickly found out that humans were my jam. Courses in Body-Mind Therapy, Life Coaching, Counseling Psychology, Neuropsychology, Grief, Trauma, and Reiki directed my path into the curious world of human behavior. I hold a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling and I am a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. I am a Level II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have been trained in Narrative Trauma Processing, Somatic Experiencing (SE), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).

I have owned and operated Out of the Blue for 17+ years and have had the honor of traveling this planet with extraordinary clients who are truly inspirational. I am an observer, an active listener and an advocate for the human process. I have a true predisposition toward non-judgment, collaboration, and a propensity for speaking on purpose.

I am a grief and trauma specialist and I am willing and able to hold space for the most painful of life's experiences. There are times when we need a hand setting down our s**t and there are times when we just need to learn how to carry it a different way. Sometimes there are moments in life when we cannot avoid painful experiences and we need help learning to navigate our "new normal."

Let's see what we can do about that.

Sarah Saltee

CTRC, MEMI, CHT

We all have unique histories which define the way we view the world, but it’s reasonable to say we have all experienced some level of grief or trauma during our lives. The good news is that we are incredibly resilient beings. If we can find meaning in the challenges we face and give purpose to our experiences, we can build the capacity to live our lives boldly…free from the perceived constraints of our circumstances. It was through my own painful life experiences, including the death of my oldest son, that I realized MY purpose was to create space for others to be able to discover their own resiliency, even after a great loss.

As a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Coach, I offer the tools needed to cope with grief and complex trauma, while providing guidance toward resiliency. My salutogenic approach is effective in addressing the impact of trauma over time while strengthening interpersonal, internal, and external resources. I am certified in MEMI (Multichannel Eye-Movement Integration) for integrative work with PTSD and other traumas. I am also in the process of working toward becoming a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have experience helping individuals integrate psychedelic experiences, as well as facilitating of ketamine treatments for deeper trauma work. Through volunteer work, I have extensive experience in grief support and am passionate about offering education to people of all ages and backgrounds about how to recognize grief and the importance of acknowledging and working through it.

I am passionate about my family, my Northern Colorado community where I was born and raised, my two adorable labs, and my unique hobby of raising Sea Horses. Yep, that’s right…Sea Horses!

I’m honored to be part of the amazing team at Out of The Blue Integrative Wellness and would be grateful for the opportunity to guide you as you explore new possibilities.

PMHNP

I specialize in women, children, and adolescent psychiatry. I came into the mental health field and specifically integrative psychiatry because I recognized the gap in mental health care in overall wellbeing of patients that I worked with in the acute care setting. My background is in acute care nursing, the last 9 years in women and infant services. I am a Colorado native. I love being outdoors with my kids, Olympic weightlifting, mountain biking, and all the things to do with Colorado outdoor life. I am particularly passionate about women’s health. I believe in building therapeutic relationships and providing holistic tools to foster healing to meet individual’s needs.

Amy Mixco

MS, CTRC

Hey there, my name is Amy. Thanks for stopping by and taking a few minutes to let me introduce myself to you.

There’s so much noise in our world today, right? So much information, so many opinions, so much distraction. I’m passionate about helping others cut through all of the noise so that they can tune into their inner voices and find their truth. At the very core of my being, I have always been curious and empathetic. The curiosity that got me in a little bit of trouble when I was younger, now serves me greatly in my work as your coach.

As your coach, I will walk alongside you on your journey. I have an unshakable belief that you hold all the answers within. My role is simple yet profound: to meet you where you are, be the best listener you’ve ever had, and ask those powerful questions that help illuminate your path. I truly believe that you can embrace your inner knowing and that doing so will help you discern your next right step. You are not broken, nor do you need fixing. Even those aspects of yourself you wish to change have served a purpose. We can figure out what’s holding you back, honor it, and release what you don’t need anymore so that you can forge ahead in a new way.

I have been studying my craft for more than 25 years, first pursuing a degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology. I continued on, earning my Master's in Counseling. Building on the theories and therapeutic approaches I learned in grad school, I dove head first into the powerful work of coaching. Coaching is my jam! I bring to you specialized training as a Trauma and Resilience Life Coach from the Arizona Trauma Institute and certification as a Health and Wellness Coach from Wellcoaches. My professional experience spans across school counseling, community health, higher education, nonprofits, and as a life coach at Microsoft.

I spent many years living in the desert and mountains of the western US, but now I am learning to find beauty along the banks of the Missouri river as I now call Missouri home. When not in the office, you can find me out exploring with my friends and family. I love to dance. Gardening and cooking nourish my body and soul, even though I am still a novice at both. My partner and I have 3 young girls who keep us busy every single day!

I can’t wait to chat with you. Let’s see what we can create together, shall we?!

Dwight Hall

CRTC

Hello there,

After spending more than 30 years working in the business world, major life changes led me down a completely new path. I have experienced traumatic loss and rebuilt my life. It’s not overstating it to say that my world and world view have been completely transformed, and through loss and transformation I have found incredible meaning and purpose.

I am trained as a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Coach. While this training has equipped me to work alongside people as they navigate some of the most difficult times of their life, the same tools can be equally useful in the small challenges of life. Thoughts, behaviors and patterns, that may have once helped us, can prevent us from living our best life. Growth and healing in our mind, body and spirit is possible but it does take intention. Working together, new intentions can be discovered with compassion and accountability to move toward a new reality.

Difficulties and pain are inevitable in life. How we deal with them is a choice.

Bodywork

Kristina Mohn

LMT, PN-L1

I became a Licensed Massage Therapist after receiving my certification from the Healing Arts Institute in Ft Collins in 2002. At a very young age I knew that a career in healthcare was the direction of my heart and massage therapy seemed the natural fit. I love working with clients to facilitate freedom of movement, relief from discomfort, and to help them find their own path toward health and wellness.

In addition to massage, I am also a Certified Life Coach and I maintain Professional Certifications in Nutrition and CrossFit Coaching. Additionally, I am working toward Certifications in Addiction & Recovery, as well as Trauma Touch Therapy.

I love being active and you can often find me out in nature or in the gym! I stay busy raising three very active boys and we enjoy hiking, camping and playing around the wonderful mountains of Colorado. More recently, in my spare time, I can be found navigating the wonders (insert sarcasm here) of online learning platforms for three kiddos in various stages of Middle and High School!

My sessions are personalized to each individual’s unique needs. My specialties include Swedish Relaxation Massage, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Rehabilitation, Postural Analysis, Repetitive Strain, and Chronic Injury Recovery. Creating a safe and healthy environment for all clients has always been a priority - even more so now with ever changing sanitation recommendations.

I encourage clients to be active participants in their health and offer various ways to help them find the next best version of themselves. If at any time you would like more information about massage or nutrition; or if there are any questions I can answer for you about the effects of bodywork on our physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being, I would be honored.

My career evolution has taken me through leadership positions in construction management, restaurant management, as well as Peer Support Lead and Captain in the fire service. As a retired firefighter I have seen my fair share of trauma and the extraordinary benefits that self-care can have on combating depression, anxiety, grief and loss. I have been honored to be part of a Peer Support team dedicated to helping my brothers and sisters in the fire service get the support they need to continue the difficult task of emergency response. Now as manager of Out of the Blue Integrative Wellness I am privileged to be part of such a dedicated team of professionals devoted to the mental, emotional, and physical health of our Northern Colorado community.

I am a dog lover and a paddleboard enthusiast! The combination of the two often has me spending more time in the water than on the board (paddleboard + exuberant Labrador Retriever + human = swimming).

I love spending time with my beautiful wife and my 15-year-old kiddo doing whatever the day brings! I have a traveler’s heart and I love to visit new places and experience new cultures, try new foods, and have new adventures. I am teaching myself how to golf and I am happy to take any advice on improving the ol’ swing!
